Hi guys! When it comes to wearing dresses, I usually have a tendency to want to belt them so that they cinch on my waist and have more structure. Although I still believe that this is a great option, recently I've been opening up to the idea of wearing loose dresses that only show a hint of my figure. Not only are they suuuuper comfortable, but they also look sexy in a more subtle way.

-- En español -- Hola chicos! Cuando se trata de usar vestidos, a mí siempre me ha gustado agregarles una correa para darle más forma y mostrar mi cintura. Sigo pensando que correas son una excelente opción, pero últimamente me ha gustado mucho la idea de llevar los vestidos de forma suelta que muestra solo un poco de mi figura. No solamente es una opción suuuppper cómoda, pero también se ve muy sexy de una forma más sutil.

Hi guys! It is definitely no secret that I am obsessed with cats and love my cat Ellie so very much.... sooooo, today I came up with the ultimate most outrageous cat lady outfit EVER! I like to call this style "Crazy Cat Lady Chic" which is totally a thing in the fashion world, right?! lols.

Hola chicos! Definitivamente no es un secreto lo obsesionada que estoy con los gatos y lo mucho que adoro mi gato Ellie... así que hoy se me ocurrió hacer este look atrevido de "Crazy Cat Lady" (Señora loca que adora a los gatos). A mí me gusta llamar este estilo "Gato Chic", lo cual obviamente es una tendencia muy fuerte en el mundo de la moda (jajaja, estoy siendo sarcástica, por supuesto que Gato Chic no existe :)

Yeah, I know, I know. There are a LOT of cats in today's outfit; but somehow I feel like it works... or maybe I love cats so much that it is impairing my fashionable judgement. Either way, I was happy as can be in this outfit today and that is really all that matters ;)

Sí, sí, ya se que este look tiene demasiados gatos; pero de alguna forma siento que este outfit igual se ve genial.... o tal vez eso sea mi obsesión por los gatos que me esta nublando mi buen juicio de moda. My favorite designers of the day were definitely Annie Chajin (who I was lucky enough to interview last year!) and J&J Attie. I love it when designers add whimsical, quirky, and unique details to their designs. Oh, and in case you were wondering what I wore that day, I went with a denim on denim look thanks to Levis Panama ;)

Today's look is a clear example that breaking the "rules" can be great sometimes. Oh, and can we talk about how awesome this cassette purse is?! A big thank you to my friends for this aaaawesome birthday present, they know my style too well ;)

Hi guys! Last week, two of my all time best friends Diana and Joaquin got married after 7 years of dating, woohoo!. Their wedding was sooooo pretty with the most beautiful fairytale decor and Disney themed details. Diana walked down the aisle to the Beauty and the Beast song "Tale as old as Time" and we served our dinner at the reception to the sounds of "Be Our Guest" (also from Beauty and the Beast). All the guests at the wedding had the opportunity to become a Disney character that night, like Mickey, Goofy, Donald, and princesses, thanks to the gorgeous hats that were given out during the party. It truly was a fairytale wedding no matter where you looked, and I was lucky enough to be one of Diana's bridesmaids at the ceremony.

La semana pasada, dos de mis mejores amigos de toda la vida Diana y Joaquín se casaron después de 7 años de noviazgo, weee! Su boda fue increíblemente bonita con la más bella decoración y detalles temáticos de Disney. Diana caminó en la iglesia al sonido de la canción "Tale as Old as Time" de La Bella y la Bestia y también nos sirvieron la cena en la recepción al sonido de la canción "Be Our Guest" (también de La Bella y la Bestia). Todos los invitados tuvieron la oportunidad de convertirse en personajes de Disney como Mickey, Goofy, Donald, y princesitas gracias a los sombreros hermosos que repartieron durante la fiesta. Realmente fue una boda de ensueño directo de un cuento de hadas y yo tuve el honor de ser una de las damas de Diana en la ceremonia.

A big congratulations to Diana and Joaquin! I feel so blessed to have shared this special day with you and I wish you both a life filled with love and happiness.

Les deseo muchas felicidades a mis amigos Diana y Joaquin! Me siento muy bendecida de haber podido compartir este día tan especial con ustedes y les deseo una vida llena de amor y felicidad.

Hi guys!! Here is an outfit I wore out for a classy dinner date at the Club Union. Can you believe the last time I wore this gorgeous maxi dress was back in 2012?! Like many others, sometimes I don't wear beautiful pieces in my closet because I am waiting for a "special occasion" to wear them. I've come to learn that if I have that mentality then my nice clothes simply never get worn. Every single day is special and deserves for me to dress my best, right?! At least that's the fashion motto I'm trying to live by so that I feel good about myself ever single day ;)

-- En Español -- Hola chicos !! Aquí les muestro un outfit que me puse para una cena elegante en el Club Unión. ¿Pueden creer que la última vez que me puse este vestido hermoso fue en el 2012?! Lo que pasa es que a veces no me pongo piezas de mi armario porque siento que son muy lindas y deben ser guardadas para una "ocasión especial". Pero lo que he llegado a aprender es que si tengo esa mentalidad entonces mi ropa más bonita nunca se llega a usar. La realidad es que todos los días son especiales y merecen que me ponga un outfit bonito, no creen?! Así mi ropa bonita no se queda guardada en mi closet por una eternidad sin usarse, y a la vez me siento especial todos los días por usar ropa que en realidad me encanta ;)

Hi guys! As I mentioned the other day, I'm going to be writing articles for Telemetro.com every week with styling and beauty tips. A couple of you mentioned that you tried google translating my articles to English so that you wouln't miss out on my fashion advice (Aaaaaawwwwww!!!!!!!). For starters, lets see what I have to say about the official color of the year 2015: Marsala!

-- En Español -- Hola chicos! Como les mencioné el otro día, este año estaré escribiendo artículos para Telemetro.com con mis tips de moda y belleza. Un par de ustedes mencionaron que tuvieron que usar Google translate para poder leer mis artículos en Inglés porque no se querían perderse mis consejos de moda (Aaaaaawwwwww !!!!!!!). Por eso decidí que sería buena idea que de ahora en adelante publique los mismos artículos aquí en mi blog pero en Inglés y Español para que todos ustedes puedan leerlo sin problema... weee!! Para empezar, vamos a ver lo que tengo que decir sobre el color oficial del año 2015: Marsala!

According to Pantone, the official color that will be in style during the entire year 2015 is Marsala. This color, which is inspired by the wine with the same name, is a shade of red mixed with brown tones. Below I will show you a couple of ways in which you can incorporate Marsala into your everyday outfits so that you can stay fashionable throughout this year 2015.

-- En Español -- El color oficial que estará de moda para este año 2015 es Marsala. Este color, inspirado por el vino que lleva el mismo nombre, es una tonalidad de rojo vino mezcaldo con tonos chocolates. A continuación les mostraré cómo pueden incorporar Marsala en sus outfits para poder estar a la moda durante todo este año 2015.

1. Marsala + Neutral Colors:

Marsala is a color that by itself is very powerful and attracts attention. Hi guys! Here is a femenine outfit I wore to celebrate my good friend Jess's Baby Shower at the Ramada Hotel. I woke up feeling particularly glam and girly, so I decided to wear this romantic dress I bought from Forever21 a couple of months ago. Its amazing how you can sometimes find very beautiful and well made pieces in Forever21 if you just take the time to look. This dress is a perfect example of that because it looks fantastic and yet it was very affordable. I especially love the beading on the top of the dress, it gives the outfit a little sparkle ;)

-- En Español -- Hola chicos! Aquí les muestro un look ultra femenino que me puse para celebrar el baby shower de mi buena amiga Jess. Hoy me desperté sintiendome particularmente glamurosa y "girly", así que me pareció el momento perfecto para usar este vestido romántico que me compré en Forever21 hace un par de meses. Es increíble como a veces se puede encontrar piezas muy hermosas y bien hechas en Forever21 si tan solo nos tomamos el tiempo de buscar bien. Este vestido es un ejemplo perfecto de esto ya que se ve excelente pero en realidad es bastante económico. Lo que más me gusta de este vestido son los detalles en chaquiras en la parte de arriba, le da un toque de brillo al look ;)

Hi guys! As many of you know, I was born in Panama and have lived here all of my life. And as a Panamanian, I must admit that I am truly amazed at how much our country has grown in the last 10 years. If you haven't visited the city for a couple of years and came back, you probably wouldn't even recognize the place! There are SO many new buildings and roads that even I get lost from time to time (but that's probably more because I am totally clueless by nature, haha).

-- En Español -- Hola chicos! Como muchos de ustedes ya saben, yo nací en Panamá y he vivido aquí toda mi vida. Y como una panameña, debo admitir que estoy realmente sorprendida de lo mucho que nuestro país ha crecido en los últimos 10 años. Para las personas que no han visitado la ciudad en varios años, creo que si volvieran casi ni lo reconocerían!  Hay tantos edificios y calles nuevas que incluso hasta yo me pierdo a veces (pero eso probablemente es más porque soy despistada, jaja)

Hi guys! Today I would like to show you a simple trick that I like to use to make my dresses work for both day and night. Its very simple really, just add a crisp blazer and some comfy flats to transform a sexy dress into a classy daytime look. Then to go out at night, switch into heels and take off the blazer. Easy peasy right?! This is especially great for people (like me!) who like going to happy hour after work ;)

Hoy me gustaría mostrarles un truco super sencillo que me gusta usar para hacer que mis vestidos de noche también funcionen para ponérmelos durante el día. Es muy sencillo en realidad, sólo tienes que añadirle un blazer clásico y unos flats cómodos para hacer que un vestido sexy se transforme en un look sofisticado para el día. Luego, para salir por la noche, solo necesitas ponerte unos tacones y quitarte el blazer. Sencillo cierto? Esto es especialmente útil para personas (como yo) que les gusta ir del trabajo al "Happy Hour" ;)

Hi guys! The Little Mermaid has always been one of my favorite Disney movies ever; mostly because I feel like it has some of the best songs! Soooo, how happy am I wearing this Little Mermaid skirt?! Pretty happy indeed! Yeah, I know I am 26 years old and probably shouldn't be wearing Disney themed clothes... but I have always been a supporter of wearing things that make you happy; soooo you can expect Disney themed pieces from me even when I am wrinkled old lady ;) lol

Hi guys! Today I am wearing this gooooooorgeous cherry blossom print maxi dress I received as a gift from Sheinside. I picked this dress because I have always been a huge fan of cherry blossoms. Plus, the fabric is super soft and the open back is super sexy. I can definitely see this as a great outfit to wear for Valentine's day because its sexy and also very sweet!

Hi guys! Apart from writing fashion articles for Telemetro.com, I have also been working with them to create fashion videos as well! Here is my first video collaboration where I talk about the 4 key pieces every girl should have in her closet this summer 2015: a pair of jean shorts, maxi dresses, crop tops, and jumpsuits/rompers. Hi guys! Valentine's day is right around the corner and I bet you are all starting to plan your outfits for that special day right?! Well, what could be better than these adoooorable heart print heels?! They are absolutely perfect for Valentine's day and super easy to make yourself at home.

-- En Español -- Hola chicos! San Valentín está a la vuelta de la esquina y apuesto a que todas ustedes ya están comenzando a planificar el outfit perfecto para ese día cierto?! Bueno, ¿qué podría ser mejor que estos tacones adorables con estampado de corazones! Son absolutamente perfectas para el día de San Valentín y además son super fáciles de hacer en casa ;)

To make these cute heels, just follow these 4 simple steps:

1. Use a pencil to draw different sized hearts all over the heels.

2. With a small paint brush, apply white glue to 2-3 hearts.

3. Sprinkle red glitter on the hearts that have glue and then remove the excess.

4. Repeat this entire process until you cover both heels with hearts.

All done!

Para hacer estos zapatos adorables, sólo tienes que seguir estos 4 pasos sencillos: 

1. Usa un lápiz para dibujar corazones de diferentes tamaños en los zapatos.

2. Con un pincel pequeño, aplica goma blanca a 2-3 corazones.

3. Ahora aplica escarcha roja encima de los corazones que tienen goma y remueve el exceso.

4. Repite el proceso hasta que cubras ambos zapatos con corazones.

Y con eso terminastes!

Super easy right? You can pair these heart heels with a simple dress (I reccomend red or white) and you will look super cute and perfect for Valentines day! Hope you all enjoyed this easy Valentines day craft ;)

Hi guys! Here is a cute outfit I put together inspired by the classic Valentine's day colors: red and pink! I fell in love with this pink lace dress from Forever21 as soon as I saw it in the store, especially because it looks so elegant and girly at the same time. I think this would make a perfect Valentine's Day outfit, don't you?

Me enamoré de este vestido de encaje rosado desde la primera vez que lo vi en la tienda de Forever21, especialmente porque se ve tan elegante y "girly" a la vez. Hello everyone!! Here is a simple and cute nail design I came up with for Valentines Day! Instead of wearing traditional red, I decided to make a design using pink and white for a sweeter and more innocent look. These are super easy to do, just follow my below tutorial ;)

For this tutorial you will need:

• White and Pink Nail Polish
• A Bobby Pin

-- Hola chicos! Aquí les muestro un diseño de uñas super cute que inventé para celebrar San Valentín! En vez de pintarme las uñas del clásico color rojo, decidí que era mejor usar una combinación de rosado y blanco para un look más dulce e inocente. Estas uñas son super fáciles de hacer en casa, solo tienes que seguir mi tutorial a continuación ;)

Para este tutorial vas a necesitar:

• Esmalte de uñas blanco y rosado
• Un Bobby Pin de cabello

To get this Valentines Day mani, all you need to do is follow 6 easy steps:

1. Paint all of your nails white.
2. Dip the end of the bobby pin into pink nail polish.
3. Tap the bobby pin on your nails to create small polka dots. Only do this to 4 out of the 5 nails on each hand.
4. It is time to draw the heart on the nail you left all white. Start by making two dots like the photo.
5. Then connect both dots into a "V" shape. From there, add a little more pink nail polish to give it that heart shape.
6. Repeat on the white nail on the other hand.

All done!!

Para hacerte este manicure de San Valentín, solo necesitas seguir 6 pasos:

1. Pinta todas tus uñas de blanco.
2. Sumerge el extremo del bobby pin en esmalte rosado.
3. Usa el bobby pin para dibujar lunares en tus uñas. Repite esto en 4 de las 5 uñas de cada mano.
4. Es hora de dibujar un corazón en la uña que dejastes todo de blanco. Empieza haciendo dos puntos como en la foto.
5. Luego conecta ambos puntos en forma de "V". Usa un poco más de pintura para darle forma al corazón.
6. Repite en la uña blanca de la otra mano.

Listo, ya terminastes!!
