Today my sister and I had the delight of going to an event called Design Soirée at Casco Viejo. We decided to both go with some boho chic outfits to match the bohemian feel of Casco Viejo (one of the historic areas of Panama in case you didn't know). We thought it was so funny how we coincidently wore pretty much the same outfit except mine in black and hers in white. In fact, we joked for the entire day saying that we were the Ying Yang sisters! hahaha.
En Español - Hoy mi hermana y yo tuvimos el placer de ir a un evento llamado Design Soirée en Casco Viejo. Decidimos ir con un look boho chic para coincidir con el ambiente bohemio del Casco Viejo (una de las zonas históricas de Panamá por si no lo sabían). Nos parecio super curioso cómo mi hermana y yo casualmente teníamos puesto basicamente el mismo outfit, excepto que el mío era negro y la de mi hermana era blanco. De hecho, bromeábamos durante todo el día diciendo que éramos las hermanas Ying Yang! hahaha.

The event consisted on several Panamanian designers and artists selling their goods at individual little stands. Picture something like a bazaar of sorts where you can find all kinds of handmade goodies. We had a wonderful time going from stand to stand, meeting the designers and seeing what they had for sale.
El evento consistió en varios diseñadores panameños y artistas vendiendo sus piezas en unos pequeños stands. Imagínate algo así como un bazaar de las clases donde se pueden encontrar todo tipo de artículos hechos a mano. Tuvimos un tiempo maravilloso viendo todos los stands y conociendo a los diseñadores.
It was SO much fun to go to this event with my sister and get to spend some quality sister time together. After looking at all the designer stands, we even took the time to sit down and have a bite to eat and catch up. My sister is always such a blast to be with, it is basically impossible to not have a good time when I'm with her ;)
Fue tan divertido ir a este evento con mi hermana y tener la oportunidad de pasar tiempo con ella. Después de ver todos los stands de los diseñadores, nos tomamos un tiempo para sentarnos para comer unas boquitas y echar cuentos. Estar con mi hermana siempre es super divertido, es casi que imposible pasarla mal cuando estoy con ella ;)
